We are so excited to be returning to the Carry on Crafting festival for a forth year running for its 5th Birthday! The festival will be held at the south of England showground, Ardingly, West Sussex on the 11th & 12th July, 2026!
 
Come join us in our fun and creative pottery workshop, learning the basic techniques of how to create your own ceramic bird house & feeder. These pieces can also be developed into a tea light house for a candle if you are not into your garden aesthetic. You’ll have the freedom to design something simple and elegant or craft an elaborate, decorative design with textures, patterns, and cut-out windows.
For this workshop I will be holding one workshop a day to give people a chance to decide which workshop they would like to have a go at.

Saturday - 1.30pm - 3.00pm 
Sunday - 10.30am- 12pm 
 
The workshop will include all your materials, firings and finally a glaze dipping in a colour of your choice. The base of the pieces will be dipped in a rustic white glaze and for the roof we have three beautiful glazes for you to choose from on the day.
 
With all ceramic creations they each have to have two firings. Once your creations have been made I will take them home with me to be dried out and have their first firing in my kiln. Once fired, I will dip them in your chosen glaze and fired for a final time. All pieces will be posted once ready. This workshop requires no previous experience and is perfect for beginners. We look forward to seeing you there!
