Christmas Ceramic Gonk Workshop 🎄
 
Get into the festive spirit and join me for a cosy, creative evening making your very own ceramic Christmas Gonk!
 
In this two-hour, hands-on workshop, I’ll guide you through creating your own charming ceramic gonk, complete with a tall, floppy hat, a textured beard and a little round nose. I have left mine pretty plain but you’ll have the freedom to add your own personal touches, making a unique decoration to treasure for years to come.

Time: 6:30pm–8:30pm
Location: Teas and Seas Café, Rustington
Duration: 2 hours
Once you’ve finished making your piece, I’ll carefully bring it back to my studio, where it will be left to dry before being fired, glazed and fired again. Your finished gonk will be glazed in your choice of four colours, with the nose and face left in their natural, unglazed finish.
No previous pottery experience is needed, so whether you’re a complete beginner or already love getting creative, you’re very welcome!
Your finished ceramic gonk will be ready to collect once the making, drying and firing process is complete. Please allow several weeks for this, as each piece needs time to dry and go through both firings.

Important Note:
Clay is a natural material and can occasionally crack or break during the firings. I will do everything in my power to ensure this does not happen but it is the risk that comes with working with clay.
